The Daily Vinyl video #28: “Stairway To Heaven” by Led Zeppelin

The Daily Vinyl video #28: “Stairway To Heaven” by Led Zeppelin from The Daily Vinyl on Vimeo.

I am extremely proud of this “Stairway To Heaven” video. I had this idea right from the first days I came up with this unusual idea. I’m so glad it all came together. For the most part, everything is filmed in 1 take, start-to-finish, and whatever I get, is what I got to work with. But this time I also filmed some additional footage while I was at the Celebration of Cultures at The Parthenon in Nashville Oct 04, 2009.

Thanks to the Panamanian “May Queen,” The Aztec “Piper,” and the Somalian “Lady we all know,”
(all lucky coincidences. I’m glad I got their shots before my camera battery died.)
And of course to my random volunteers milling around The Parthenon.

This is my first attempt at a Vimeo upload, primarily due to the WMG issue on YouTube. If it looks good, I’ll put a few more up.

I really hope you enjoy this.

Great video Tim! I like the location, and the concept of getting random people involved. Also loved the video stutter effect, when the girls jumped down and skipped down the corridor. Keep up the good work dude! :)

What a cool concept for a video. I would have never thought of anything like this. Awesome!
I also use Vimeo for my videos that I can’t post to YouTube.
