Peter Gabriel is an amazing artist. Terribly under-appreciated with his contribution to World Music and production sounds of the 80′s & 90′s. One of my earliest concerts was PG’s “Us” tour. bloody brilliant!
My very first Rock concert was Led Zeppelin at the Tarrant County Convention Center Arena on August 22, 1970. They were touring on Led Zeppelin II at the time. No warm-up act. The number they opened with was “Heartbreaker”. A flawless and magical performance !!!
first ever concert was The Heavy metal kids at the albert halls in Bolton,i think it was in either 1975/76, my life was changed forever after seeing (and hearing) Gary Holton and the boys on top form.
INXS, Memorial Drive, Adelaide, Australia Oct 2 1985. Loved it!
Blue Oyster Cult w/ Slade as the opening act.
1976
Capital Theater in Passaic, NJ
I was 16 at the time… great venue / great show.
Grand Funk Railroad, Charlotte NC, 1973, more smoke than a drag strip in that place!!!
