The Dude wants to know… do you buy vinyl LPs?
Do you buy new and/or used vinyl? My answer is… yes. (surprised?) In fact I’ll be featuring two brand-spankin’ new records in this weeks vinyl video. I’ll be breaking their seal for your voyeuristic pleasure.

I buy a LOT of records, mostly for my art, mostly in the worst condition I can find. I wish I could add to my listening collection, but the cost. With reissues so popular now, Doors, Hendrix, Lennon, Pearl Jam, Oasis, you name it, I could buy more. For now when I buy one I don’t have on vinyl for art I use my iRecord to save it as best I can first.
Peace,

I’m thirteen, and i buy my records used but today i orderd a new abbey road album off barnes and nobles
Hey Blazius.. I just saw the Abbey Road deluxe vinyl pressing in The Groove (5-Points/East Nashville). It had a t-shirt and poster (I think) with the record. Is this what you got? Pretty cool!
I buy both new and used vinyl – probably more used than anything. I’ve always been fascinated w/it and for me – nothing like dropping the needle down and watching/listening to my record collection. Definitely brings back memories as a child w/my first record players.
Dude,
These days, I almost only buy used vinyl! I love the act of discovery – still discovering and listening to music nI didn’t know about or listen to when it can out. 60s and 70s especially. My latest find – in an Orlando record store, Rock and Roll Heaven – was the first Incredible String Band. I was inspired by reading producer Joe Boyd’s fascinating memoir, White Bicycles.
Thanks for the great blog.
